Wray-with-Botton Wi-Fi Broadband
Research network built by Lancaster University and village volunteers. Run as a free service as part of a Living Lab since 2004.
Anyone living in the village can use the free wifi network. Started with a 2 megabit symmetrical feed and is now on 100megabit symmetrical fibre to the university, with around 30 meg symmetrical internet access. Currently part of the P2Pnext project. More details on the website.
